Facings

Gradually I am becoming interested in identifying, in relation to my ongoing use of a structural “butterfly” joint or cut a use of identifying a “facing ” position, sort of a portrait moment with in the work as it were, within the ebb and flux.

Lemma-Dilemna Eliptical Elopement Profile

The hint of a curving frontal plane that inserts into this piece as it advances the sunken tracts of emergent drawing form sculpturally  is related to the idea of moving platforms for studying models movements.
